AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) The mid and upper low pressure disturbance has moved eastward out of the area with  a cooler, drier and more stable fall weather pattern to take hold. I expect partial clearing by later today into tonight with plenty of sunshine and below average temperatures for Friday into the weekend.

(2) As surface high pressure associated with cooler in place now moves east of us, a southeasterly surface wind will return by late Saturday into Sunday into the first part of next week with a warming trend getting underway.

(3) Early indications are that another trough, or line, of upper air low pressure will cross the central plains states by the mid into latter part of next week. A cold front will move into Texas as     the upper level trough progresses eastward through the plains with increasing clouds and perhaps some rain chances by next Thursday (just beyond the seven day forecast period).

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting no precipitation for our area over the next seven days.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
High to very high confidence through Wednesday.
