AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A strong surface cold front has moved southeastward through the area. As a strong mid/upper level low pressure disturbance, producing abundant atmospheric lift, slowly moves overhead today into tonight and over runs the cooler air at the surface, we’ll see  numerous rain showers and even a few thunderstorms.

(2) As the mid and upper low pressure disturbance moves eastward out of the area by tomorrow, a cooler, drier and more stable fall weather pattern will return with partial clearing by late tomorrow into tomorrow night with plenty of sunshine and below average temperatures for Friday into the weekend.

(3) As surface high pressure moves east of us, a southeasterly surface wind will return by late Saturday into Sunday into the first part of next week with a warming trend getting underway.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting 0.50 to 1.00 inch over the next seven days.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
High to very high confidence through Tuesday.
