AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) With high pressure now east of the area over the southeastern USA, south southeasterly surface winds have become reestablished over our area.

(2) Even with a weak front moving into north Texas mid into late week, little change is expected over the next seven days with the exception of warmer temperatures and higher humidity. Cloud cover will increase a bit, particularly late night and early morning low cloudiness and perhaps a few sprinkles by the weekend, but I do not expect any widespread precipitation over the next seven day period.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is predicting little if any precipitation.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
High to very high confidence through Monday.

AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A stronger cold front will pass during the day today. Short range, high resolution guidance suggests some widely scattered rain showers ahead of the front by afternoon along and east of the IH35 corridor but, at this point, due to low confidence, I will not include precipitation in our forecast.

(2) Much cooler and drier air with abundant sunshine will prevail for later today through our upcoming weekend into early next week as surface high pressure.. very fall like in nature.. settles over Texas.

(3) As high pressure moves east of the area, another cold front will sweep southeastward through the area on Wednesday with little or no precipitation.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is predicting little if any precipitation.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
Very high confidence through Thursday.
