SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…
(1) Upper level high pressure (the “lid” on the atmosphere) has become more established over the area. As a result, a drier and more stable weather situation is expected through the weekend and into next week.
(2) Atmospheric models are increasingly agreeing that a few rain showers and thunderstorms will develop over the area by the middle and latter part of next week. As a result, I will introduce slim rain chances locally beginning next Wednesday. Even so, most areas of south central Texas will remain rain free through the seven day forecast period.
