AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) Temperatures have rebound to become unseasonably warm as we begin the new week. The return of low level moisture from the Gulf of Mexico has resulted in increased clouds with rain chances beginning a slow return today as well. All of this is occurring in advance of an upper level low pressure storm system late tonight into tomorrow.

(2) A stronger cold front will pass overhead late Tuesday with unseasonably chilly temperatures expected the latter part of the week into the upcoming weekend with the chance of light overrunning precipitation in the wake of the front Wednesday night into Thursday and Friday and continuing into the weekend (with lagging upper air disturbances passing west-to-east overhead) with temperatures, at this point, expected to remain above the freezing mark

(3) Clouds will break late Saturday night into Sunday with temperatures beginning a warming trend.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting 0.25 inch or less of  precipitation over the next seven days.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A moderate to high confidence forecast through the 7 day forecast period.
