WEATHER HAZARDS THROUGH 12 MIDNIGHT TONIGHT…

… No Weather Hazards Expected …

SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A cold front has moved southward through our area and will move off the Texas coast by later today. Temperatures, behind the front, will fall back to being closer to normal for this time of year and overnight lows for all of the area fall into the 50s and 60s through the next seven days.

(2) Tropical cyclone Ian is forecast to become more intense as it moves northward over the northwestern Caribbean toward western Cuba then toward the west coast of Florida over the next few days. While it is still too early to say exactly where the system will end up and exactly how strong it’ll be, I am very concerned for potential impacts of a possible major hurricane over the eastern Gulf of Mexico and Florida for the mid into latter part of this week. The system will have little sensible effect on our weather locally.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance continues to show no rainfall over our area for the next seven day forecast period.
