SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …
(1) Even though it is still basically remain in place, the upper level high is centered more to the northwest of the area and this will mean a little less “lid” on the atmosphere as we start our new week. Temperatures will still be above seasonal averages.
(2) By Wednesday and continuing through the latter part of the week, with the upper level high pressure area continuing to be to our north and northwest, a series of weak disturbances will move west southwestward into our area. As a result, I think we’ll see widely scattered to scattered rain showers for our area.
(3) By the weekend, the upper level high will once again become a little stronger overhead with rain chances dropping from the forecast. As this occurs, afternoon high temperatures will rise once again with some triple digit afternoon high temperatures returning.
NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting rainfall of 0.25″ or less over our area over the next seven day forecast period.
