AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) Some clouds are lingering over the area on this Thursday with temperatures continuing well below seasonal averages.

(2) Another upper air low pressure disturbance and reinforcing cold front will move east to west through south Texas with rain chances late tomorrow through Saturday and Saturday night into Sunday. Much below average temperatures will continue.

(3) Weak moisture return, over the top of cooler surface based air, will develop again by late Sunday with rain chances increasing once again. Temperatures will warm a few degrees but still remain below seasonal averages.

(4) While just beyond our seven day forecast period, there are indications in longer range guidance that our Thanksgiving holiday may be cloudy with rain chances and temperatures continuing below seasonal averages.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance suggests, on average, rainfall totals of .50 to 1.00 inch over the next seven day forecast period.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high confidence forecast through the next seven days.
