AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A weak cold front moved down into the area late yesterday but is returning back northward as a warm front. Rain chances look slim as this system departs to the north today.

(2) Another cold front will move southward into Texas and perhaps into our local area by tomorrow with a renewed chance of rain and thunderstorms as early as later tonight into tomorrow and then continuing into tomorrow night.

(3) A drier and more stable weather pattern will develop, with abundant sunshine, for Friday into the weekend and into the first half of next week with afternoon high temperatures warming to well above seasonal averages. Heat indices to near 105 degrees are likely for the time period.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting rainfall of 0.25 to 0.50 inch over our area for the next seven day period.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high confidence forecast through the 7 day forecast period.
