… Other Than Above Average Temperatures, No Weather Hazards Today or Tonight …

SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) As the weak stationary front over central and north Texas weakens and washes out, upper level high pressure strengthens a little over the area today and continues through the week into the weekend and early next week. As a result, there’s no rain in the forecast and afternoon high temperatures will continue to be above seasonal averages.

(2) Although weather will remain quiet, beginning over the weekend and into next week, we need to watch the tropics closely as a tropical low pressure system, moving west northwestward from the Caribbean, is expected to  enter and move through the southwestern Gulf of Mexico toward south Texas and northern Mexico well to our south
by Wednesday. At this point, given the lower forecast confidence, I will not mention rain chances locally.
