AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

…. Sorry for the late update today …

(1) A slow moving upper air low pressure disturbance and southeastward moving cold front is triggering the development of a slow moving surface low is moving eastward across south Texas. As a result, with the layer of cooler air surface air in place, we’ll see continue to see overrunning clouds and rain chances over our area that will continue on and off through tonight. Patchy fog will develop later tonight in advance of a northward moving warm front.

(2) As yet another upper air low pressure disturbance crosses the area tomorrow, the earlier mentioned warm front will continue to lifting northward through the area before another cold front sweeps southeastward through the area tomorrow night into Friday with clouds lingering and rain chances continuing on and off.

(3) Even though we’ll get a little break in higher rain chances Friday into Saturday, a third upper air low pressure disturbance will cross the area by Sunday into Monday with clouds and rain chances continuing on and off.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is forecasting 0.25″ to 0.50″ for the IH35 corridor.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
High to Very High Confidence through Friday..
Medium Confidence Thursday night through Tuesday..
