AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) In the wake of some overnight rain showers and thunderstorms, I expect a more stable weather pattern to prevail today into tonight with only isolated rain showers and thunderstorms expected.

(2) Another cold front may move deeper into the state tomorrow but again, it should only get as far south as overhead/ just north of our area before weakening and returning northward as a warm front tomorrow night. I will mention a slim rain and thunderstorm chance for this time period.

(3) A stronger cold front will move southward into Texas and perhaps through our local area by late Wednesday into Thursday with a better chance of rain and thunderstorms.

(4) A drier and more stable weather pattern will develop, with abundant sunshine, for Friday into the weekend with afternoon high temperatures warming to well above seasonal averages.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting rainfall of 0.25 to 0.50 inch over our area for the next seven day period.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high confidence forecast through the 7 day forecast period.
