AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A southerly surface wind has resulted in low level moisture return and our morning low cloudiness. Patchy morning low clouds and even some fog will continue to be possible into mid week; however, these morning low clouds should thin out pretty quickly each day with daytime heating with afternoon high temperatures well above seasonal averages.

(2) A strong cold front will surge southeastward through the area in the overnight hours Wednesday night. At this point, I expect most precipitation to be east of the IH35 corridor. Temperatures, in the wake of the front, will cool back to below seasonal averages with abundant sunshine Thursday into the weekend.

(3) Southerly winds will increase by the weekend ahead of the next cold front expected by late Sunday into Monday.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting little or no precipitation for our area over the next seven days.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
High to very high confidence through Monday.
