AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) In the wake of the last of several cold fronts that passed through the IH35 corridor late last night, clouds will give way to sunshine with less humid today into tonight.

(2) The front will weaken to our south and return northward as a warm front by late tomorrow into tomorrow night with humidity on the increase mid into late week and our upcoming weekend. At this point, very little in the way in dynamics is expected with a dry weather pattern continuing at least through the remainder of the week.

(3) Our next upper level low pressure disturbance will move over Texas by Saturday night into Sunday as a weakening cold front pushes south southeastward into Texas. At this point, I don’t see the front making it into our area rather weakening and pulling stationary to the north of our area by Sunday. Even so, with increasing atmospheric instability, I will be including a few rain showers and thunderstorms beginning late Saturday into Sunday for the IH35 corridor.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting less than 0.10 inch over the area over the next seven day period.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high confidence forecast through the 7 day forecast period.
