AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …
(1) Skies will continue mostly clear today through our upcoming weekend. Temperatures will be warming up through the weekend.
(2) A developing low pressure area and cold front over the Rockies will result in a return south southeasterly wind flow beginning Saturday and continuing into next week with increased cloud cover Sunday and beyond. I will continue rain chances beginning late Monday into Tuesday before the a cold front passes est-to-east through the area by afternoon Wednesday.
(3) Clearing skies along with drier air and cooler temperatures will prevail for the latter part of next week in the wake of the front.
NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting less than 0.25 inch over the area over the next seven day period.
MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high to very high confidence forecast through the 7 day forecast period.
