AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …
(1) A dry and stable weather pattern will prevail through tomorrow with temperatures above average for this time of year.
(2) Another reinforcing dry stronger surface cold front will pass late tomorrow night allowing high pressure to rebuild over the area with cooler temperatures for our upcoming weekend before temperatures warm early next week. Gusty northerly winds will prevail Saturday into Saturday night in the wake of the front.
(3) Beginning next Wednesday and continuing into the period beyond the seven day forecast period, as lower pressure becomes established over the central plains state, we’ll see a weather pattern change with increased low level moisture and associated cloud cover, a more unstable atmosphere and increased rain and even thunderstorm chances over Texas.
NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting around 0.25 inch of precipitation over the next seven days.
MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high to very high confidence forecast through the 7 day forecast period.
