AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) Another weak cold front will pass today but with no return of low level moisture from the south in advance of the front, no big change in our sensible weather is expected.

(2) Another reinforcing dry stronger surface cold front will pass Friday night around midnight allowing high pressure to rebuild over the area with cooler temperatures for our upcoming weekend before temperatures warm early next week.

(3) Just beyond the seven day forecast period, as lower pressure becomes established over the central plains state, we’ll see a weather pattern change with increased low level moisture and associated cloud cover, a more unstable atmosphere and increased rain chances over Texas.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting little in the way of  precipitation over the next seven days.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A very high confidence forecast through the 7 day forecast period.
