AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) Another upper air disturbance and associated cold front will move east southeastward across the area later tonight with increased cloud cover and even a few rain showers and sprinkles. Clouds will break in the wake of the front by tomorrow morning with sunshine expected through Thanksgiving Day.

(2) A second dynamic upper air disturbance and associated stronger cold front will likely move across Texas by Friday into Saturday with increased cloud cover and scattered to numerous rain showers and thunderstorms. The front will actually move through the area Friday morning into midday with several lagging upper air disturbances producing overrunning lingering clouds and rain chances with cooler temperatures into Friday night and Saturday through Saturday night and into early Sunday.

(3) A third cold front, rather strong in nature, will surge south southeastward over the area by Sunday morning with partial clearing and much cooler temperatures following into the new week.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, for the IH35 corridor over the next seven days, indicates 1 to 2 inches.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
High Confidence Today through Thursday
Medium to High Confidence Friday through Saturday
Very High Confidence for Sunday and Monday
