AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…
(1) An unsettled weather pattern as we start the week with a passing upper air low pressure disturbance and resulting clouds and a few patches of light rain.
(2) Although they’re not expected to be gone, clouds will decrease a bit with warmer temperatures tomorrow through Thursday.
(3) Another series of upper level low pressure disturbances will move across the area Friday through the weekend as a surface cold front moves across our local area by Saturday morning. Rain showers and thunderstorms are possible in the pre-frontal environment beginning late Thursday into Friday and into Saturday morning. Computer and manual guidance suggests that an overrunning pattern, resulting in clouds, post frontal precipitation and a little cooler temperatures, will continue in the wake of the front through the balance of the weekend and even into early next week.
