AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) With surface high pressure overhead in the wake of yesterday’s upper air low pressure disturbance and surface cold front, abundant sunshine is expected over the remainder of the week and into the early part of the weekend.

(2) Another stronger upper air low pressure and cold front will move through Texas by late Saturday night into Sunday and Sunday night with increased clouds and precipitation changes along with colder than average temperatures expected. In a low confidence forecast, at this point, it appears that some mixed winter precipitation is possible over the northern parts of south central Texas.

(3) Skies will clear, in the wake of the system, late Sunday night into the first half of next week.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is forecasting about 0.50″ for the IH35 corridor.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
Very High Confidence through Saturday..
Low to Medium Confidence Saturday night, Sunday and Sunday Night..
High Confidence Monday into Tuesday
