AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A passing upper air low pressure disturbance and associated surface cold front will pass overhead today. As the system passes overhead, we’ll see scattered rain showers as the atmospheric lift peaks.

(2) Clouds break again by this afternoon as the front passes with abundant sunshine expected late week into the early weekend.

(3) A second, potentially stronger, upper air low pressure will move through Texas by late Saturday night into Sunday and Sunday night with increased clouds and precipitation changes along with colder than average temperatures expected.

(4) Skies will clear, in the wake of the system, late Sunday night into the early part of next week.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is forecasting 0.50″ to 1.00″ for the IH35 corridor.
