AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) The stable early fall weather pattern will persist into mid week with a warming trend in advance of a another weaker reinforcing cold front due by midday into afternoon on Thursday. This will basically keep the dry weather pattern in place late week through our upcoming weekend.

(2) We’ll see a warming trend again Saturday into Sunday before another dry cold front moves southward through the area by next Monday morning with the air mass being reinforced with a dry weather pattern continuing into the new week.

(3) A final note.. the NWS/National Hurricane Center (NHC) is still anticipating surface low pressure to develop over the coming days over the northwestern Caribbean Sea. According to NHC meteorologists, there is a 50% chance of development into a tropical cyclone over the next 5 days as the system drifts west northwestward. I’ll continue to keep an eye on this system.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, for the IH35 corridor over the next seven days, forecasts no precipitation with temperatures near to slightly above average overall through Monday.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
Today through Sunday..
Very High confidence
