AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) Enough moisture has returned return for low clouds and patchy fog and drizzle this morning.. but clouds are breaking quickly with sunshine and a south southwesterly surface wind along with unseasonably warm temperatures.

(2) A strong cold front will swiftly move south southeastward through the area between 10pm and midnight tonight but limited moisture and instability will mean that the wind shift to the north will be about the only sensible effect as the front passes.

(3) Much cooler surface high pressure will settle into Texas Wednesday thruogh Thursday before the high pressure area moves eastward and a southerly surface wind returns late Thursday into Thursday night.

(4) Clouds and warmer temperatures will return Friday through our upcoming weekend and into early next week. Another cold front will be moving into Texas and approaching our area by late Monday night into Tuesday.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance suggests, on average, little or no rainfall over the next seven day forecast period.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high to very high confidence forecast through Thursday with a medium to high confidence forecast Friday through the weekend.
