AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A slightly drier and more stable weather pattern will continue into tomorrow.

(2) A more unstable forecast situation develops tomorrow night into Saturday and continues through early Sunday as an upper level low pressure disturbance is forecast to move east southeastward across the area with a southeastward moving cold front pulling up stationary overhead late Friday night into the day Saturday with rain chances returned to the forecast.

(3) Once the stationary front washes out overhead late Saturday into Saturday night, it will transition to a warm front and shift back northeastward Sunday into Memorial Day with a drier and more stable weather pattern once again returning Saturday night into Sunday and early Monday.

(4) Guidance now strongly suggests a turn back to more unstable conditions with more clouds and a better chance of rain and thunderstorms and an overall wet period of weather for the mid into latter part of next week.

South central Texas average forecast rainfall amounts over the next seven days, as predicted by the NWS/Weather Prediction Center, have continued to trend upward and is estimated at 1.50″ but this may continue to edge up a little bit more for the middle and latter part of next week.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
