AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) With surface high pressure having moved east of the area, a southeasterly surface wind continues with a warming trend underway. Late night and early morning low clouds will continue over the next few days with patchy morning fog as well.

(2) A rather strong trough, or line, of upper air low pressure will cross the central plains states by the mid into latter part of the week. A initial cold front will move through Texas Wednesday night into early Thursday as the upper level trough progresses eastward through the plains. A secondary reinforcing surge of cooler air, from the north, will move through the area Friday and Friday night. Little in the way of clouds or precipitation is expected with the initial cold frontal passage.

(3) A dry and stable fall weather pattern is expected with plenty of sunshine Thursday and Friday and into the weekend with cooler temperatures before a warming trend returns by Sunday.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting little in the way of precipitation for our area over the next seven days.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
Very high confidence through Sunday.
