AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A weak cold front over north Texas is moving southward and will weaken as it washes out overhead or just north of our area today into tonight. Some cloudiness will continue over the area today into tonight with a little more of an east northeasterly surface wind flow.

(2) As southerly winds pick up by tomorrow into the weekend, warmer temperatures and higher humidity will be the result. Cloud cover will continue to increase a bit, particularly late night and early morning low cloudiness and perhaps an isolated light early morning sprinkle, but I do not expect any widespread precipitation.

(3) Our next big weather change comes next Wednesday as a cold front moves through the area in the early morning into mid morning time period with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Drier and cooler air will move into the area in the wake of the front as surface high pressure moves in from the Rockies.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is predicting 0.25 inch to 0.50 inch of rainfall over the next seven day period.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
High to very high confidence through Wednesday.
