WEATHER HAZARDS THROUGH 12 MIDNIGHT TONIGHT…

… No Weather Hazards Expected …

SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) Over the next seven days, a very stable early fall weather pattern holds across south central Texas with a mostly clear sky continuing. Afternoon high temperatures will be close to or slightly above normal for this time of year and overnight lows for all of the area fall into the 50s and 60s through the next seven days.

(2) Surface winds slowly return back southeasterly by the weekend into next week with humidity slowly increasing.

(3) Intense tropical cyclone Ian is moving ashore on west coast of Florida. This will be a catastrophic situation.. I continue to extremely concerned for the potential storm surge (up to near 20 feet in some areas), flooding, tornado and high wind impacts of a possible major hurricane on the west coast of Florida. The system will have little sensible effect on our weather locally.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance continues to show no rainfall over our area for the next seven day forecast period.
