AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS
WEATHER HAZARDS THROUGH 12 MIDNIGHT TONIGHT…
…. High Wildfire Danger Continues Today into Tonight ….

AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …
(1) A stronger cold front moved through the area just before daybreak today with cooler temperatures and drier air moving in. Skies will continue mostly clear today through the remainder of the week and our upcoming weekend. Below average temperatures will prevail tomorrow into Friday before a warmup begins for the weekend.
(2) A developing low pressure area and cold front over the Rockies will result in a return south southeasterly wind flow for early next week with increased cloud cover. I will hold off of any rain chances at this point for late Sunday into Monday as it appears the best chances are actually later Monday night into Tuesday.
NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting less than 0.25 inch over the area over the next seven day period.
MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high to very high confidence forecast through the 7 day forecast period.
