AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) High pressure is now east of our area which has allowed a southerly surface wind to return clouds along with fog and light drizzle this morning. Clouds should break later this afternoon allowing temperatures to warm a bit.

(2) Another cold front will be moving into Texas by early tomorrow and moving south of the Austin area by Saturday night with cooler temperatures returning.

(3) With clouds moving back in, that cold front will return back north northeastward by early Sunday as south southeasterly surface winds return area wide. These warmer temperatures and clouds will continue through mid week.

(4) Guidance would suggest that clouds will continue with better rain chances by the middle and latter part of next week as a cold front weakens and pushes southward through the area before coming stationary to our south by late Wednesday into Thursday and Friday as an overrunning pattern becomes established locally.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance suggests, on average, less than 0.25 inch over the next seven day forecast period.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high to very high confidence forecast through early next week with a medium forecast confidence for Tuesday night and beyond.
