SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) With partly to mostly cloudy skies today expect temperatures to get a little warmer although still about 20 degrees below climatological averages.

(2) As high pressure moves eastward, southerly winds return by later today. Clouds and rain chances will increase a bit by tonight into tomorrow as another upper air low pressure storm system and cold front passes by the morning hours tomorrow.

(4) A dry and stable fall weather pattern prevails Friday into the weekend with plenty of sunshine expected. By late Saturday night into Sunday, low level moisture increases once again with clouds increasing a bit ahead of another much weaker cold front due late Sunday into early Monday.

TODAY…. Increasing clouds becoming mostly cloudy with a few sprinkles by middle and late afternoon. Where rainfall occurs, given a 20% chance of rain, it will average trace amounts. High 49. Light wind early becoming southerly 4 to 8 mph by midday.

TONIGHT…. Increasing clouds becoming mostly cloudy with scattered light rain and rain showers. Where rainfall occurs, given a 50% chance of rain, it will average 0.05″ or less. Low 38. Light southerly wind.

THURSDAY…. Mostly cloudy with scattered light rain and rain showers as a cold front passes in the morning. Where rainfall occurs, given a 50% chance of rain, it will average 0.10″. High 47. Light east southeasterly wind early shifting northerly 4 to 8 mph.
