AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) Our atmosphere looks quite stable for the next seven day forecast period. Based on the most recent high resolution short range guidance, it is possible we could see an isolated thunderstorm or two southwest of Austin today. Otherwise, the typical late summer weather pattern will prevail over the next seven days with afternoon high temperatures continuing to be above seasonal averages.

(2) Atmospheric model and manual guidance suggests the southeastward advancement of a weak cold front across the IH35 corridor in the predawn hours Monday morning. Little of the way of sensible weather change (and no precipitation) is expected with the frontal passage.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting no rainfall over our area for the next seven day forecast period.
