SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …
(1) As the surface high pressure area moves east of the area later today, a return south southeasterly surface wind will result in warming temperatures and increased humidity for the latter part of the week into the upcoming weekend.
(2) As a series of weakening cold fronts will move into Texas by Saturday night into Sunday and Monday, we’ll see an increasingly moist and unstable air mass. The fronts, at this point, are not expected to move into our area, However, I am mentioning widely scattered rain showers and thunderstorms by late Saturday night and Sunday into the first half of next week given the increased instability and low level moisture.
NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting rainfall of 0.25 inch or less over our area for the next seven day period.
