AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) In the wake of the early weekend upper level disturbance, a cold front, dry in nature, passed southward through the area on Sunday morning. In the wake of the front, a dry and stable air mass is in place over Texas.

(2) With abundant sunshine, temperatures will warm to above seasonal averages for the middle part of the week.

(3) Moisture will be on the increase by Thursday ahead of an approaching upper level low pressure disturbance and associated surface cold front that is due to cross the IH35 corridor by Friday afternoon. Scattered rain showers are possible beginning late Thursday night and continuing into Friday until the front passes through the area.

(4) Drier and cooler air with a clearing sky will once again take hold Friday night and continue through the upcoming weekend as surface high pressure settles in from the Rockies.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is suggesting rainfall of less than 0.25″ for the IH35 corridor.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
