AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) The upper level low pressure storm system and associated surface cold front has either moved through or will move across the area this morning. All rain has now moved east of the area. In the wake of the cold front, a drier air and more stable air mass will once again take hold locally with plenty of sunshine by midday today and continuing into the upcoming weekend.

(2) Another cold front, which will basically reinforce the air mass in place, will pass Saturday morning. Expect little sensible weather, other the wind shift, as it passes.

(3) Another low pressure area and cold front will approach Texas by early next week with increasing clouds and humidity in advance of the system. The front itself is forecast to move across the IH35 corridor by Tuesday with a chance of a few rain showers and thunderstorms.

(4) Drier air and a more stable air mass, with a clearing sky, will once again take hold over the area by Tuesday night into Wednesday.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting around 0.25 inch over our area over the next seven day period.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high confidence forecast through the 7 day forecast period.
