AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …
(1) A drier air and more stable air mass persists overhead. Abundant sunshine will prevail through today into our weekend.
(2) Another cold front, which will basically reinforce the air mass in place, will pass tomorrow. Expect little sensible weather, other the wind shift, as it passes.
(3) Another low pressure area and cold front will approach Texas by early next week with increasing clouds and humidity in advance of the system. The front itself is forecast to move across the IH35 corridor by Monday night into Tuesday with a good chance of rain showers and thunderstorms.. a few of the storms may be strong mainly northeast of Austin
(4) In the wake of the front, a drier air and a more stable air mass, with a clearing sky, will once again take hold over the area by late Tuesday into Tuesday night before a secondary cold front moves through the area, with cooler temps, on Wednesday.
NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting less than 0.25 inch over our area over the next seven day period.
MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A very high confidence forecast through the 7 day forecast period.
