AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) An upper level low pressure area will move across north Texas by tonight into the predawn hours tomorrow. Clouds and humidity have increased, as evidenced by our low clouds, in advance of the system. The system is forecast to move across the IH35 corridor tonight with a chance of rain showers and thunderstorms.. a few of the storms may be strong mainly north and northeast of Austin

(2) In the wake of the system, a drier air and a more stable air mass, with a clearing sky, will once again take hold over the area by tomorrow morning before a strong cold front moves through the area, with cooler temps, by morning into midday Wednesday.

(3) Skies will continue mostly clear Wednesday through the remainder of the week and our upcoming weekend. Below average temperatures will prevail Thursday into Friday before a warmup begins for the weekend.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting less than 0.25 inch over our area over the next seven day period.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A very high confidence forecast through the 7 day forecast period.
