AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) Surface high pressure has moved east of the area with a return south southeasterly surface wind.

(2) A stronger surface cold front will move south southeasterly into the area by Wednesday morning into midday. As it moves into the area, low level moisture and instability will be increasing. In addition, a stronger mid/upper level low pressure disturbance will lagging behind the front a bit and will be slowly moving across the area Wednesday into Wednesday night. As a result, scattered to numerous rain showers and thunderstorms are expected, mainly back in the cooler air that will be spilling into the area Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night.

(3) A cooler, drier and more stable fall weather pattern will return late week through next weekend with plenty of sunshine and below average temperatures.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting 0.50 to 0.75 inch over the next seven days.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
High to very high confidence through Sunday.
