AUSTIN / IH35 CORRIDOR
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) With another approaching upper air disturbance and a cold front moving into north and western Texas, clouds will be increasing tonight before we see a renewed chance for rain and storms for tomorrow continuing through the weekend. The front will, it would appear, struggle to make it’s way into central and south central Texas and finally pass southeastward by mid to late morning Friday before pulling up stationary along the Texas coast and then returning northward as a warm front Sunday morning.

(2) We’ll keep lingering rain and storm chances Sunday night into Monday before another significant upper level low pressure storm system approaches Texas from the west by the middle part of next week just beyond the current seven day forecast period.

Based on NWS/Weather Prediction Center data and guidance, my forecast is for 1.00 to 2.00 inches of rainfall, on average, for our IH35 corridor counties through the 7 day forecast period which ends in the early morning hours next Monday.

MY LOCAL FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high to very high confidence today into tonight before a medium to high confidence forecast, with uncertainty of timing and amounts of rainfall, appears for tomorrow through Monday.
