AUSTIN / IH35 CORRIDOR
WEATHER HAZARDS THROUGH 12 MIDNIGHT TONIGHT…
No weather threats anticipated.

AUSTIN / IH35 CORRIDOR
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …
(1) Clouds are increasing into tomorrow as the southerly surface wind return and much warmer than normal daytime highs are forecast to be in place Saturday.
(2) The next cold front will quickly advances north-to-south through our area by the evening into nighttime hours tomorrow. Skies will clear in the wake of the front for Saturday night into Sunday.
(3) After a cool down Sunday into Monday, a return to southerly surface winds is expected by early next week with a warming trend expected. Clouds will increase by Monday night into Tuesday and Tuesday night with a few sprinkles possible.
(4) Another strong cold front by Tuesday night with the potential of some light precipitation along and behind the front as an upper level low pressure area crosses the area after the colder air arrives. While I am holding off at this point, guidance does suggest some wintry precipitation is possible late Tuesday night into Wednesday although I am keeping precipitation in liquid form until I get a little more confident over the next day or so.
Based on NWS/Weather Prediction Center guidance, my forecast is for less than 0.20 inch of rainfall, on average, for our IH35 corridor counties over the next seven day forecast period.
MY LOCAL FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high to very high confidence forecast for tomorrow into Monday then back to a medium confidence forecast for Tuesday into Wednesday.
