AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) An broad upper air low pressure disturbance is slowly moving across Texas from the west. With a more unstable atmosphere in place, cloud cover and rain chances will continue as a strong cold front moves through Texas by midday today with an overrunning weather pattern expected, with trailing eastward moving upper air disturbances resulting in a cloudy, chilly and wet weather prevailing into Thursday.

(2) Even though precipitation and clouds will take a bit of a break later Thursday into Friday, clouds are likely to thicken again by the weekend as another upper air disturbance moves back in with slim rain chances by the weekend.
