(1) A stable summer weather pattern continues through the balance of the week into our upcoming weekend with plenty of sunshine and south southeasterly surface wind prevailing over the area.

(2) As a trough of low pressure deepens over the eastern third of the USA for the early part of next week, initial indications are that the air mass overhead becomes more unstable as a cold front moves into Texas resulting in a better chance of precipitation.
