SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) After some morning low clouds, we’ll see abundant sunshine with a big warmup continuing through Thursday with afternoon high temperatures warming back to the 90s.

(2) In advance of our next stronger cold front, rain chances will return by late Thursday night  into Friday with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms expected.

(3) As the front moves through the area in the morning hours on Friday, much cooler temperatures will move south southeastward into the area. Rain chances will decrease quickly on Friday in the wake of the front. Windy conditions, in the wake of the front, will result in higher wildfire danger Friday into Friday night in areas where little or no rainfall occurs.

(4) A mostly clear and unseasonably cool Friday night through Sunday time period.

(5) A return southerly wind combined with very dry ground will result in a big warm up for early next week with high temperatures getting back into to near 90 once again ahead of a mid to late week cold front.

FRIDAY…. Mostly cloudy with scattered morning rain showers and thunderstorms as a cold front passes. Where rainfall occurs, given a 40%chance of rain, it will average 0.25″ or less. Turning windy and cooler. High wildfire danger by afternoon. High 75°. South southwesterly wind becoming north northwesterly wind 15 to 25 mph and gusty.
