SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) We’ll see abundant sunshine with a big warmup today and continuing through Thursday with afternoon high temperatures warming back to the 90s by tomorrow and Thursday.

(2) In advance of another stronger cold front, rain chances will return by late Thursday night  into Friday with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms expected.

(3) As the front moves through the area in the morning hours on Friday, much cooler temperatures will move south southeastward into the area. Rain chances will decrease quickly on Friday in the wake of the front. Windy conditions, in the wake of the front, will result in higher wildfire danger Friday into Friday night in areas where little or no rainfall occurs.

(4) A mostly clear and unseasonably cool Friday night through Sunday time period.

(5) A return southerly wind combined with very dry ground will result in a big warm up for early next week with high temperatures getting back into the 90s once again ahead of a mid to late week cold front.
