AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) The atmosphere will stabilize a bit mid into late week as a cold front moves south southeastward across the Red River into north Texas. In advance of the front, I will drop rain chances from the forecast Wednesday into Thursday.

(2) By late Thursday night into Friday, front is expected to wash out as it settles southward into central Texas. Due to proximity of the front, I will introduce slim rain chances Friday and Friday night.

(3) A more stable environment will return with sunshine for the upcoming weekend with temperatures continuing to be well above average.

(4) There is now more consensus that a more significant cold front is on tap for late in the weekend into early next week with a better chance of rain and a little cooler temperatures to follow.
