…. A Lightning Risk Exists with Any Thunderstorms That Develop in or Move into the Area Later Today Through Tonight …

SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) A surge of tropical moisture off the western Gulf of Mexico moves north northwestward along with a more unstable atmosphere developing by later tonight into tomorrow will result in increasing rain chances for the next couple of days.

(2) A drier and more stable weather pattern will return late week into the weekend with afternoon high temperatures rising to well above seasonal averages.

(3) An unseasonably strong cold front will approach Texas and move through our area next Monday morning with increased clouds and perhaps rain chances by late next weekend into the early part of next week.
