… A Dry and Stable Weather Pattern Continues …

On this Thursday… surface high pressure is building southeastward across Texas. As a result, our surface winds across south central Texas are light north northwesterly.

In the upper levels of the atmosphere.. a broad area of upper level low pressure.. or a trough/line of upper air low pressure.. extends southwestward from east of Hudson Bay southwestward over the central and western parts of the USA. Our upper level winds, at about 18,500 feet overhead, are westerly 70 to 80 mph.

A dry and stable weather pattern continues across our area with the surface high that is settling over the state.

Another very weak reinforcing cold front will pass the area late Friday into Saturday with only a few clouds present.. seasonal temperatures will be reinforced over the area.

I do not expect any precipitation over the next seven days with temperatures close to seasonal levels.
