.. Weather Update #3 ..

… WINTER STORM WATCH issued for IH35 Corridor including the Austin
Metro Area valid from 2pm Sunday through 12 noon Monday …

Other NWS watches/advisories/warnings have been issued or updated:

in addition to the above, NWS/Austin-San Antonio continues a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY
for the Texas Hill Country.. including Blanco, Burnet, Gillespie and Llano Counties.. until 6pm this
evening.. then a WINTER STORM WARNING will go into effect from 6pm this evening
until 2pm Sunday. At 2pm Sunday until 12 noon Monday, a  WINTER STORM WATCH
will go into effect for these same counties.

NWS/San Angelo continues a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for Mason County
until 6pm today with a WINTER STORM WATCH going in effect at that time
and remaining in effect until 6am Monday.

Although not in our immediate area, you should also be aware that the NWS/Fort Worth
has now issued a WINTER STORM WARNING which goes into effect for all of the DFW
Metroplex.. beginning at 6am Sunday morning and continuing until 12 noon Monday.
In addition, areas to the south, including Killeen.. Belton.. Temple and Waco, will be
placed in a WINTER STORM WATCH effective at 12 noon Sunday and continuing
through 12 noon Monday.
