.. Tropical Weather Update #3 …
The NWS/National Hurricane Center continues to monitor the westward
moving area of disturbed weather in the north central Gulf of Mexico..
Since yesterday, the system appears to have become less organized.
The westward movement will likely continue, due to an upper level high pressure
area to the north. Assuming this, this system will likely move westward to and then
ashore onto the middle and upper Texas coast by tomorrow into Monday. It will
bring better rain chances to southeast Texas and the Texas coastal bend northwestward
into our area
A second area.. over the Yucatan Peninsula.. is also being monitored but it, too, is
poorly organized at best.
Here is a link to the latest tropical weather outlook (updated at 1am, 7am, 1pm and 7pm CT daily)
Unless changes occur in these system, this will be my last tropical weather update on these systems.
