TODAY…. Partly to mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms will be severe with the threat or larger hail and damaging straight line thunderstorm wind. Where it occurs, given a 40% chance of rain at any given location, rainfall amounts will average 1/2 to 1 inch. High 89. Southerly wind increasing to 8 to 18 mph… winds strong.. gusty and variable around thunderstorms.

TONIGHT…. Mostly cloudy with widely scattered rain showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Where it occurs, given a 20% chance of rain at any given location, rainfall amounts will average 1/4 inch. Low 70. Southerly wind 8 to 15 mph.

SATURDAY…. Morning low clouds.. otherwise partly cloudy. High 90. Southerly winds 10 to 20 mph with some higher gusts.

MONDAY NIGHT…. Mostly cloudy with scattered to numerous rain showers and thunderstorms as a cold front approaches from the northwest. Periods of locally heavy rain could create some urban flooding problems. Where it occurs, given a 60% chance of rain at any given location, rainfall amounts will average 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches with isolated heavier amounts. Low 68. South southwesterly wind 5 to 12 mph.

TUESDAY…. Partly cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms before sunrise as a cold front passes. Where it occurs, given a 50% chance of rain at any given location, rainfall amounts will average 1/4 inch. Partial clearing.. less humid and a little cooler in the mid morning to afternoon hours.
