SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…
(1) The atmosphere will remain stable with abundant sunshine and well above seasonal average temperatures with highs near or slightly above 100 degrees over the next few days.
(2) There are indications that our atmosphere will become a bit more unstable by the late this week into the weekend and into next week. At this time, however, I am not confident enough regarding precipitation in the period from the weekend into very early next week. At this point, I feel like the chances are less than 20% for any given location for the weekend into early next week.
(3) A more pronounced weather pattern change appears likely for the latter part of next week and through the long Labor Day weekend as a cold front moves southward through the plains states. I will introduce precipitation chances in the middle and latter part of next week (with rain chances likely increasing even further in the periods just beyond this seven day forecast period).
